The Challenge

TG4 employees rely on their email to communicate with colleagues, customers, and vendors all around the world. Their email exchange server was going end of life and their support team was handling an increasing number of support calls relating to their email services. The TG4 management team choose office365 after a long assessment process because of its advance email, document and collaborate features. The next challenge that TG4 faced was implementing the office365 to all its 186 employees and ensuring there was no business disruption during the migration to the new office365 platform.

The Solution and Outcomes

Following the tendering process, CloudStorm won the contract to design, deploy, migrate and project manage the TG4 employees’ email and data from their current email platform to office365. A key deliverable for this project was a successful ‘live migration’ of the existing email users with zero disruption to normal day to day operations of its 186 users. The team at CloudStorm developed the office365 migration plan with particular attention not to disrupt the ongoing business activities and employee productivity. CloudStorm executed the migration plan migrating all the user’s data, contacts & outlook settings, applying the appropriate security setting.
